The KJV is unequaled as the Word of God for the English-speaking world.  So many have been convicted and converted while reading the Holy Scriptures such as:

Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is a wonderful to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have a Word of God that is pure and perfect.  I personally don't understand why any one would want anything else.  The knowledge that I can completely trust every word that I read as being God's exact words to me is comforting and reassuring that He has me in mind to follow Him.
