Happy Birthday KJV!

 May 2, 1611 ... this day in history, the very first King James Version of the bible was published in  London by Robert Barker. 

 We thank God for His Divine Providence in preserving His writings in such an important work, not only spirutally, but historically and

Preservation and the King James Bible


English is the closest thing there is today to a universal language. Upwards of 350 million speak it as their first language, with many more than that using it as a second language. It has the largest vocabulary of any language (550,000 separate entries in Webster's Third

The KJV is unequaled as the Word of God for the English-speaking world.  So many have been convicted and converted while reading the Holy Scriptures such as:

Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In 1604, King James I of England issued the following decree,

"That a translation be made of the whole Bible, as consonant as can be to the original Hebrew and Greek;
and this to be set out and printed, without any marginal notes, and only to be used in all churches of England
in time of divine service."

On May 2, 1611 the King James Version of the Bile was publihed: The complete title page

Hello you probably feel you are not wanted here,  and some time I feel the same way but I'm still here.  I just want it to say, hello and welcome aboard, I believe that there are many good people out there, who are all not Christians and are probably make better neighbors. I had people say to me, there are to many hippocrates in the Churches these days. I say to them, this is true but the LORD
